Financial Stability of Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia

Abstract

The essential question in this paper is if there would be a stable financial model which ensures sustainable way of financing health care, is it affordable for quality health care for all the citizens in North Macedonia?  Therefore, through comparing and analyzing six financial years of the Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia and in order to improve the health system, with the help of comparative analysis, we will determine the differences between the health systems and the way of financing health care in the Western Balkans, to identify and implement the positive experiences of the reforms.
