Bending Analysis of Nanoplates Resting on Elastic Foundation

EasyChair Preprint no. 12998

Abstract

This paper introduces a finite simulation approach for analyzing the static bending behavior of nanoplates supported by an elastic foundation. The method also considers the effect of magnetic phenomena. The plate's calculation expressions and equilibrium equations are derived from the novel shear deformation theory. The article use a mesh composed of rectangular elements, with each element having four nodes. Each node is associated with six degrees of freedom to solve the equilibrium equation. The solution's dependability and convergence are confirmed by comparing it with previously published findings. Based on this premise, the study presents numerical findings that examine the impact of various geometric factors, materials, boundary conditions, and elastic foundations on the static bending behavior of nanoplates. This research is an invaluable resource for engineers, providing good guidance for the practical use of these
