The 9th XoveTIC Conference, organised by the University of A Coruña Centre for ICT Research (CITIC), is a platform for young pre- and post-doctoral researchers in ICT area to present short papers and posters on the work they are doing. This edition will be held on October 15 and 16. The aim of the conference is to complement and enhance young researchers’ training by providing them with a space for scientific debate and exchange.

Registration for the conference is free and provides an ideal opportunity for young researchers to share their experiences and network in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.

Submission Guidelines

The conference will include a number of oral presentation and a poster exhibition.

• Posters and oral presentations may be written in any of the conference languages (Galician, Portuguese, Spanish or English). Only the final paper submitted for publication in the book of proceedings must be written in English.

List of Topics

Proposals should relate to one of the following areas:

• Artificial Intelligence: Machine learning; artificial vision; natural language processing; intelligent autonomous robotics; knowledge representation and reasoning.
• Data science and engineering: Big Data; information retrieval; information systems; data analysis; simulation and optimization;
• High performance computing: HPC software; Big Data infrastructures; cloud computing.
• Intelligent networks and services: 5G wireless communications; Internet of Things; vehicular communication and intelligent transport systems.
• Cybersecurity

Publication

Conference contributions may be original or based on research presented or published previously. All contributions will be published in a book of conference proceedings of Universidade da Coruña with a DOI.

Venue

The conference will be held in A Coruna (SPAIN). This edition will be held on 2026, October 15 and 16.
