The Swedish Microwave Days 2023 (SMWD 2023) is a three-day microwave/antenna event held this time at KTH in Stockholm! The event will be held May 23rd-25th, 2023 in Electrum building in Kista.
We will have exhibitions from the industry, plenary sessions, invited speakers, and social events.
The Swedish Microwave Days is the perfect meeting point for everyone interested to learn about recent advances in microwave, millimeter-wave, THz, or antenna technology or to hear about the recent advances in wireless communications, sensor, and emerging applications!
The Swedish Microwave Days 2023 are arranged in cooperation with Smartare Elektroniksystem.
Submissions of contributions will be available between October 15th, 2022 until February 20th, 2023.
Contributions to the SMWD 2023 will be only abstracts with a maximum of 2 pages. The contributions will not published and they will not have DOI (or equivalent). However, you will have the option to extend you abstract as a full paper for the EuMA International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies (IJMWT), in an agreeement between the SMWD2023 and EuMA.

The submission of the contributions will be done through Easychair.
If you would like to extend your abstract as a full paper for the Swedish Microwave Days 2023 Special Issue in the EuMA IJMWT, you will have to indicate it during the submission of your abstract. The SMWD2023 Scientific Committee will choose the highest-rated abstracts that selected this option, and they will be invite their authors to contribute.
If you are a student (BSc, MSc or PhD), and you are the first author of a contribution with 5 or less authors, you can participate in the Student Awards. Please, indicate the award that you would like to participate during the submission. You can only apply for one of the two awards:
- Best Antennas and Propagation paper: This award is sponsored by the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and the awardee will get a free tuition fee for one course in the European School of Antennas (ESoA).
- Best Microwave paper: This award is sponsored by the European Microwave Association (EuMA). The awardee will receive a monetary price from the EuMA.
